House Dawson Place

The original, freestanding Villa on tree lined Dawson place was demolished and rebuilt with an extra basement to it. The existing, stucco fronted elevation had to be re-established but the rest of the house took on a very different shape. This family home was designed with generously sized rooms throughout that all revolve around a stair- and light well build from solid, Swiss sandstone and steel. The owner, a light artist himself, had collaborated in several, site specific installations.
