A 1960 built pig barn in rural Suffolk is set to be converted into a live/work compound. The charred timber clad building is comprised of a residential volume in the north west and a large workshop to the south east, the two wings linked by a glazed volume in the centre.

Sliding timber shutters allow the client to flexibly control their privacy and sun-screening whilst maintaining the beautiful view into the large private garden.
