Rear extension in Hampstead. The prefabricated concrete structure allows the existing space to be extended without a column. The bare concrete construction is an honest display of the load bearing frame, whilst simultaneously referencing the materials of the sub-urban environment of Hampstead. The interior flows down a set of cascading stairs, creating a gradual and natural link between the front and rear of the house.
